Fantastic 2-Bed House with Parking - Hosted by Hutch Lifestyle

The garden was great although the deck boards will need changing as they are rotten. The living space was lovely to look and the sofa was very comfy

The shower worked only for the first person, then it was either scorching or freezing and nothing in between. No microwave, and I wasn’t able to plug my phone in to charge at night. Lots of extension leads can be dangerous.

Communication before and during the visit was excellent, well exceptional in fact, and couldn't be faulted. Location was fine and generally the place was clean throughout although not sure it would have passed an inspection on "4 in a bed". Good parking space and the back garden had plenty of seating. Bed mattresses were comfy (but I had a slope on mine!).

There was quite a catalogue of things that were certainly not "Fantastic", but perhaps it would be a bit harsh to detail it all here. So I'll offer a summary instead. In general the place was a bit tired and the last time it was done up looks somewhat of a quick, 'bodge job'. for e.g. the planters to the front were dilapidated and scruffy, there were only 3 forks (not an issue for the 2 of us!) , the decking was pretty creaky outside, no outside light, no oven gloves.......etc. So as I say nothing fundamental but it just needs a little tlc, and then it could make a claim of being "Fantastic"

Lovely house that was warm and well equipped for our stay. Lots of attention to detail to make our stay relaxing.

Nothing to dislike

It wasn't as clean as I had expected and as it looks in the pictures, it felt dusty despite looking clean on the surface - not thoroughly cleaned which was unpleasant.

The house is superb. It was clean, decorated to a high standard. The mattresses were fantastically comfy. There were TV's in every room with all the streaming services added. The garden was enormous. The kitchen appliances were fantastic, with a lovely welcome package of tea and biscuits. The hosts were responsive and kind. We have already booked to stay here again - its a true home away from home! Thank you.
