Lavarell House - Best Lake View

An amazing view, the property is right on the lake and all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

Very limited parking in Nesso and there are a huge number of steps down to access the property which made it difficult with two children and a suitcase.

Stunning location, clean apartment, awesome balcony views. If you dont like the bunk bed there is also a pullout couch! Would absolutely go here again.

Only downside is that town parking is scarce but we did manage to find some!

The view is unparalleled. Waking up every morning and having breakfast with that view was wild. We loved staying here, the location is great, just a bus or ferry ride away from any other towns you might want to visit like Como or Bellagio. The apartment is in great conditions, clean and has everything you might need. I suggest you purchase all the food you will need for your stay in Como and take it with you, there’s no big markets in Nesso.

The wifi did not work during our stay. I mentioned this to management and they said they would fix it for the next guests so hopefully this won’t be an issue in the future. Also, this is pictured so shouldn’t be a surprise but just FYI the bed is a sort of top bunk bed that you’ll need to climb into every night. It wan’t a huge issue for us but a bit uncomfy for nightly toilet runs lol

PLEASE READ!!! If arriving by the ferry walk over to the bridge and up the stairs over the bridge. It will save you some much walking up and down so many unnecessary stairs, which we wish we knew about as we were carrying really heavy bags. The view from the balcony was amazing, the apartment was clean and very nice. For the price I’d recommend. It was easy to check in.

The bed was quite wobbly and one of the steps started to crack so it wasn’t the best. Other than that the stay was good.

It was exactly like the photos. It was clean and the host was responsive. Unfortunately there was no wine opener the first night, but the host brought one to us then following morning.

It is quite a hike to get to the property. It would be manageable for a semi fit individual but with the luggage and groceries it was a bit much.

Lake view is perfect.

Floor was not clean and bathroom is a bit dirty. Too many stair to reach the house
