"favorite place in our whirlwind tour of Portugal"

We were met. Wonderful location in square, close to cafe, market, restaurants and shops. Wonderful ambiance just below the university. Loved that the students were always coming and going. We did indeed receive a serenade while on our balcony from a lovely baritone and tenor one evening.

Beware that on certain evenings the students stay up in the square till very very late. Not an issue if sleeping in bedroom upstairs, but a surprise for sure!

The position was just perfect for us ! Great having the shop below and cafes all within walking distance! Beautiful area!

Didn’t know about stairs!! Could be a problem for some!!
