Siabod - Snowdonia, North Wales

Such a beautiful property, we stayed in the Siabod apartment which had its own private section of the garden which was lovely. The beds were really comfy.

Nothing.

Location was ideal for Zipworld and subsequently easy access to the North West Wales coast. Easy access to amenities in the town (Tesco Metro and pubs/restaurants etc) all within walking distance. Tastefully decorated. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms all very nicely presented. Apartment was clean and tidy with good facilities.

Parking is difficult. Entry is via a narrow back lane. Parking spot at the end of the garden is tight for 2 cars, not really possible for 3 unless you know one the other residents (two side by side with one in front). The option of EV charging would be useful at this price bracket though there is a charger at the local sports centre about 15 to 20 minutes walk away. Just me maybe but the TV was a little small given the size of the room. No aerial but smart TV so plenty of apps available - could be frustrating if you're not familiar with smart TVs.

The property itself was very spacious and made for a very comfortable stay, Jennifer was fab and allowed us into the property early once the cleaner had finished which was really appreciated. The beds were really comfortable ☺️

I would have like to have had a washing machine in the property as the local laundrette as nearly all of the washers were out of action and the one that could be used no direction so unknown what cycle you was putting on. Also unable to open the windows in the front bedroom as it is right on a bus stop, however it didn’t cause too much concern. It did appear that no one around like having an air bnb next door but did appear to abuse the bins of the property as we could not dispose of our waste which we did feel bad about, however was able to inform the cleaner and hopefully Jennifer can sort this so no one has this problem in the future. To be cheeky a tv in the bedroom would be fab!

There was a smell of dog / something unpleasant / musky down stairs. Use more air fresheners / clean floors / surfaces better to feel fresh in there..

The property was very clean. Good amount of space. Good quality bedding and towels. Good amount of space.

No point in having a TV if it's not tuned in and it's not possible to tune it in. Carpark space was a complete nightmare, extreally tight and the access road needs the holes to be filled in, so you don't damage your car. Didn't like the clear glass window with the stairs to the upper flat on the other side, no curtain or privacy glass, felt very uncomfortable using the toilet during the night. Only part of a safty rail on the stairs, didn't feel confident doing down. The kitchen is lovely but the handles on the units are very difficult to open when you have issues with your hands.

convenient location if you want to do some exploring around Tryfan, Glyder Fach etc. very easy check in, a bit tricky to find the place - pay attention to the instructions provided by the host. spacious apartment over 2 levels, has an outdoor space as well for when the weather is nice.

very slight confusion about locating the property, but just need to follow the instructions provided by hosts. the cleanliness could be a bit better in some of the areas, but I am just being very picky here. bethesda itself is a very small town and there is not much to explore / do - but thats probably not the reason you come here.

Stunning home, Stayed 2 nights with 2 kids, felt like home. 4 minute drive to zip world
