A Holiday Motel - Maggie Valley

I had a good stay there. The pool was closed due to equipment failure, parts were on order they said. The bride outdoor lights stayed on till 11 pm. They attracted many bugs that would get into the room when you opened the door. One should be able to cut that light off or have the whole string to cut off earlier than 11 pm. hard to site out after dark due to the amount of bugs flying around. I enjoyed the visit to Maggie Valley. I hope to return in September. Now the price. It seems little pricey for the room. The bathroom seemed little outdated for the price and water would get on the floor from the shower. $495 for 2 people 3 nights. we were there for the bike rally thus I really liked the location. I hope to visit again.

Everyone was so friendly. Close to pop’s place. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Room was clean but blankets smelled like chemicals! Was advertised with pool, nope! Pool was green. Disappointing for price paid.

We booked a 3 queen bed suites, it was super clean and spacious. Our family loves it!

The only problem we found it is wifi, not stable, and slow.

The king size sheets were to small wouldn’t stay on the bed.

This was the nastiest place ever. Sheets on the bed had turned yellow. The room looked like it was decorated in 1940. The room smelled like it had been closed up for years. They gave me a room behind the motel. It was scary and looked like behind the building had not been cleaned up in many years. My advice is to NOT book this place!
