3-bedroom Villa Alanta in Sanur

Every aspect of this villa was magnificent. Beautifully maintained, so clean. Close to the beach , Icon mall, and Siduh night market. Surrounded by spas and great local warungs. The owner was absolutely fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Very clean, with comfortable beds. The pool was great and well used. Close to all restaurants, shops and the beach. Had a problem with air conditioning, but this was fixed the same day.

We asked for a driver recommendation and Ayuk (owner) was kind enough to organise. The driver met us at the airport and was very kind and patient as the plane was delayed. The hosts were very prompt with communication and contacted and updated us when there was a Bali wide blackout for 8 hours. If you want to stay in, there is Netflix and sports channels available. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Pool and garden immaculate. The location is excellent - on a quiet road and is a short walk to massages, local cafe's, markets, the main road and the beach.

Need to be aware the villa is 'detached' which means 2 of the 3 rooms aren't directly connected to the main living area. The glass ceiling above the shower (in 2 of the main bathrooms) is either meant to be open or broken which means mosquitoes easily fly into the bathroom, so we had to keep the bathroom doors shut. We lit mosquito coils in each of the bathrooms each night which did a good job of keeping mosquitoes out of the bathroom. I did shower with a small frog one night which was quite cute but would have preferred the shower to myself.

Very well appointed private villa a short walk to the main street in Sanur. Good sized pool, comfy beds and great showers. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our 3-night stay.

Inside the house there were rats and lizards. The pool was dirty with a yellow brown filter that was never changed. There was mold in the pool and around it on the walls. THE POOL IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SWIMMING. Also the sun loungers were dirty with mold stains. A moldy smell was present in all the rooms. The kitchen was dirty with dust and food leftovers that were never cleaned from the previous guests. Dirty sofa, dirty sink , table with dust , BUT the WORST was the toilet that had URINE on the lid. We were SHOCKED. The balcony doors do not close properly and BEWARE the bathrooms are open to the sky which is not stated and not visible in the photos. The man who came with the owner was rude, started shouting at us when we showed him the dirty spots and went to attack us. I have been to many hotels all over the world, cheaper and more expensive, I have never seen anything so dirty. Of course I am not talking about a seemingly dirty place but unsuitable for human health. I wish I could upload all the photos and had managed to photograph the big rat, but as soon as I saw it, I got scared and started running. STAY AWAY!!!!

Comprehensive kitchen equipment, spacious rooms, fast wifi connection, quiet surroundings, clean pool, strategic location-walking distance to the beach and Icon mall, and a very nice & friendly helper who came everyday to clean the villa.

Many flies went in and also mosquitos at night. All doors should always be closed at all time. Mosquito nets around the beds would be nice. Flies are everywhere in Bali during this time so it's understandable.
