Struttura situata in posizione centrale, arredata con gusto e con attenzione ai minimi particolari. Colazione sublime con prodotti del territorio. Un ringraziamento speciale alla proprietaria per le attenzioni e la disponibilità nonché per i suggerimenti e le informazioni sul territorio .

I strongly recommend P&G! I travelled Enna for a conference, and P&G was such a great place to stay! The host Pamela was so welcoming and caring. And very important, I the communication before the stay was good, fast and clear about everything I needed. The breakfast is great and good way to get to know some local tastes. Good variety and Pamela also asked what I want and like to eat, so she can prepare that for the following mornings. I have allergies, and those were taken into consideration carefully. I stayed at the king room, or the “Cloud room” as the host called it. And now I know why: one night I saw the amazing clouds below Enna in the valley. And on the day the view is amazing. When no clouds, I could see the Etna, but even without that, excellent view. The bed was comfortable, and there were different warmth blankets to choose from. I think the hosts have used very personal touch in decorating the place. But also treating the guests is very personal: Pamela told the origins of the foods served and gave tips for restaurants and what to see in Enna. We had nice discussions, and she taught me daily phrase in Italian. :D Good restaurants by walking distance by the way. If I ever go back to Enna, I will stay there again.

The buses from Enna Bassa did not run very frequently, but you can still reach there by public transportation. It is an old house, so the air is changed by opening the windows, plumbing is is old (no paper to the toilet, like I'd assume is in most of the Enna Alta / old town, but to the bin instead), bathroom floor is somewhat cool (there were free slippers included though, and air heater that the guest can adjust themselves). Pillows were too thick for me.

Overnattingsstedet har egen parkerings-plass. Overnattingsstedet ligger sentralt. Eierne snakker flere språk.

Hotellet krevde mer enn Euro 60 ekstra fra oss i kontanter uten å gi kvittering. En annen gjest opplevde noe lignende. Han måtte mase og spørre høylytt flere ganger og vente i frokost-rommet på kvitteringen sin. Hvis man er et vanlig menneske, og sulten, så blir man ikke mett av frokosten. Frokosten var overpriset og mest til pynt med veldig små biter av ost og annet. Dårlig utvalg. Drikkevarer manglet. Brød manglet. Frukten var gammel. Rommet var mørkt og kaldt. Rommet hadde mange lysbrytere på mange forskjellige steder. Mange lysbrytere som ikke virket. Det luktet vondt fra vaske-servanten og dusj-sluk. Bord og hyller montert på veggene var dårlig montert. De kunne falle ned. Rommet var ikke særlig rent. Støv og rusk på gulvet. Hotellets eier ville prate mye med oss. Uten å stoppe. Det luktet veldig vondt fra munnen hans. På veggen inne på hotellet hang et dokument fra myndighetene som sa at dette overnattingsstedet var godkjent med - 2 - to rom til bruk for gjester. Men eierne opererte med overnattingsgjester i ca - 5 - fem rom. Er dette et seriøst overnattingssted som krever kontant betaling uten å gi kvittering? Og kanskje overnattingsstedet ikke har nødvendig tillatelse fra myndigheten?

We stayed in P&G for three nights. We booked a room and we ended up staying in half a cave and half a nicely decorated room. It was a fantastic experience. Although it was literally a room inside a rock and you could in fact see the rock there was no sign or feeling of moisture or humidity or anything unpleasant. Quite the opposite actually. It was nice, quiet and you got rested with only a few hours of sleep. Probably because of the atmosphere and quietness. Pamella was preparing a nice breakfast every morning including a variety of local cheeses and marmalades . She was a very nice host and always helpful with to the point advices on what to visit. Giusseppe was also helpful at the first night in fighting a car-park which is not easy in Enna. Overall an extremely pleasant staying.

The only negative which explains the 9 instead of 10 is that if you are travelling with lots of luggage, as it was our case, then the space becomes limited. However, Pamela showed us around the property and there are some bigger and still interesting rooms.

Posizione ottima per il centro storico. Nascosta al rumore dell traffico, quel tanto che basta. Mobilio interno bello e raffinato.
