Home away from Home in La Mercy - near Durban 's King Shaka Airport

We booked a deluxe suite that advertised a lounge with 2x sofa beds. Turns out there is NO LOUNGE. We had booked to stay for a week so we had to live out because it didn’t give us enough space to be able to comfortably congregate and hang out in a common area. Can’t watch tv in the bedroom when there’s 4 of you in the house

Quite area

Only has an Aircon in the main bedroom nowhere else . The care taker lives in the garage with has an inter leading into the dining room. Which I personally don't like . House and yard is still being worked on.

House was clean

Safety. Would be nice to have the gate locked but again the boundary wall does not go all the way to the back which was a safety hazard for me. The guy staying in the house was too close to us. A door away. I guess because of the security that’s a good thing but again I was not fully comfortable with that I slept with the door locked. I was afraid to move around the house since he has access to the house as well. Eg walking from the bathroom to the room fully covered and we slept with the kids because we were not comfortable leaving them in their own room But I was happy with the stay. That’s the only thing I hope it makes sense

Cleaniness, less than 3 kilometers from the beach.

The house could even be better with good garden,

Never stayed my room was cancelled

Nothing cause never stayed

Did not like location.
