"Finest retreats does what it says on the tin"

General standard of finish. Comfortable beds. Brightly decorated. Kitchen fully kitted out, nice touch of fresh milk tea and coffee provided.

Perhaps a problem with the aerial but could not get any TV channels. Not a major issue as out all the time but others may find it an inconvenience.

"We enjoyed our visit to Whitby and hope to return again."

The property was clean, nicely decorated and very convenient for accessing the town centre and shops on foot. The parking permit was useful whilst loading and unloading the car near the property.

Lack of ' consumables'. There was only one toilet roll for 4 adults for 3 nights and 4 teabags. No spare bin bags. Bath towels were small and bath sheets would have been better. There was an expectation from the visitor information book that we would clean the property before we left otherwise money would be kept from the deposit. Whilst we were very happy to wash up and clean up any mess that we made , it seemed cheeky to expect us to clean the property on top of this, when we were already paying a cleaning fee.

Spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. All mod cons. Great location with bars, restaurants and shops right outside but peaceful and quiet.

No parking but car parking available a few minutes walk away so not a major issue. The charm of Whitby is the narrow streets so parking right outside in such a prime location like this apartment is unusual. The apartment is on the first floor and the stairs are a bit steep so could be problematic for those with mobility issues, especially when carrying luggage. This wasn’t an issue for us but just wanted to make others aware.
