"Best stay ever!"

Had the best time at Wye View Lodge. A peaceful location with stunning views. Walks all around both on the land and across the road. Kitchen is well fitted, beds comfy, great shower and lots of space. Lovely secure garden if you have a dog. Would definitely stay again.

"Superb"

Amazing property - as everyone else says, the views are wonderful. Surrounded by birdsong. Really lovely property owner - could not have asked for more!

We couldn't get the oil burner to work - it was still warm enough with the main heaters though, even in February.

This was the best holiday I have had the rooms where so clean the veiw was out of this world The town was amazing the bookshops well just out of this world 4 days of heaven The lady we meet was the mum of the owner she was so friendly and helpful

"Blissful remoteness and quietness"

I loved the views across the wye valley, the quietness and the sound of birds and sheep

It’s a slightly challenging road to get there, very narrow and steep, not for the nervous driver

The property is well located, well equipped and very comfortable. The peace and tranquility was second to none sitting on the decking admiring the views and listening to bird song and wind through the tree’s. Just what we wanted.

"Fabulous, especially as we enjoyed wall to wall sunshine in February!"

Absolutely superb location if you're looking for peace and quiet, surrounded by stunning views and nature all around. Loved that there were secure paddocks for our dog to use and the friendly hosts were just next door if needed. Fabulous wrap around deck where we could sit and watch the sun rising over the black mountains, and at night enjoy the stars in the brecon dark sky, whilst listening to owls hooting all around.

Personal thing, but the indoor door latches, whilst in keeping with the lodge, were noisy especially when opening doors during the night. VERY minor issue though!
