Poppy's Place - Manningham Road

Very clean and tidy, felt very welcoming. The host is really accommodating and always helpful. I stay regularly for work and always have the best stay.

A couple of cooker dials were broken so hinder working the cooker. Bathroom window didn’t close and issues with closing several doors

The size of the property was good and the bedrooms were all a good size. Plenty of sofa space. I liked how it was decorated and the art around the house. The beds in the green room and white room im told where lovely and comfortable by my children. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower space was large. The welcome book was a nice touch and had good information in it. There was tea, coffee and sugar avaliable and washing up liquid and hand washes supplied. I was able to park in front of the property without any problems. If you're into football the location would be amazing. Google found it without any problems. I was contacted early morning of check in with the code for the door.

Maybe a time of year thing as its a January trip but there was plenty of cobwebs. Ice was blocking the drainage in the fridge which could impact its performance. A deep clean would soon sort it out. It was missing a few utensils like pizza cutter, sizzors, ice cream scoop. The doors could use an adjustment so they shut better and things like the draft excluder on the lounge door needs lowering so it can do the job. A few throws in the lounge might help for warmth rather than needing to crank the heating right up. Unfortunately the mattress and pillows in the black room where uncomfortable and I was glad it was only a couple of nights. Check out at 11 rather than 10 would have been preferred to allow more time for things like breakfast before rushing to leave. Honestly theyre all things that could be easily sorted out and without too much time or expense.

Great location only 15 minute walk to anfield they is a parking permit on the street but its only for game days just at the bottom off the road there room for 2 cars an its free parking there beds really comfortably i normally struggle when staying away but slept pretty well untill we was woken up at 7am with someone banging there van doors shut outside Beth is great very helpful explained everything with the parking an theres a booklet inside se has done to tell u everything will see u again Beth thank u

Wouldnt say dont like but theres room for improvement with the property for the area the price is really cheap but the upstairs doors need looking at has they dont shut 2 windows in 2 off the bedrooms wont shut so abit fresh on a night the shower isn't very powerful to say its a power shower but that said for the price we would stay here again
