Very convenient and a pleasant place to stay!

After being stuck on the N3 for over 14 hours, we finally reached Howick - exhausted and cold. We made a last minute booking at Greendale.......and WOW!!!! The warm welcome by Karin was exactly what we needed. She was friendly, accommodating and made our stay super comfortable! The unit was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and warm, the shower superb!!! We were grateful to come accross such an amazing place!!! Thank you Karin, for everything!!! Our appreciation cannot be measured!!!!

Greendale went the extra mile - Oreo cookies and muffin in the room. Arrival and departure instructions very clear and easy to follow.

The location, for my purposes was great. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I booked a self catering option for my stay so that I would have a separate lounge/living area but found that the bedroom, kitchen and tv were all in one. There was no seating really to speak of except for two barstools in the unit. I arrived on one of the coldest weeks and the only seating area was outside so I ended up eating on the bed. I did not want to cook even though there were facilities as the smell of cooking would have permeated through the "bedroom" and I would have had to sleep with the smell of food in the room. Essentially this is a bedroom with a kitchenette and there is very little space. I definitely expected a couch or some sort of comfortable seating.

It's a cozy unit with everything you need for a short trip. The electric blanket was great for the cold nights.

Sunrise got me up earlier than I'd hoped, but that's easily solved and not a deal breaker.
