The perfect dog friendly get away if you are seeking the home comforts! As someone who lives interior design I can fully appreciate and see the love and attention to detail that has been put into renovating this historic house. Beautiful touch’s everywhere you look, making this more of a home than a rental property.

We all had a very enjoyable 2 nights at Palm House. Everything lived up to to our hopes. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the 2 bedrooms were a good size with lovely linen. The owners were very generous with arrival treats & very accommodating when contacted. The little village of Newlands was delightful to walk around, visit the Ostrich pub and then plenty of gorgeous walks to chose from with our dog.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Quiet location and comfortable, stylish and really sociable property. Attention to detail was spot on and had everything we needed. Walked to coleford and used the Ostrich Inn which is great. Raymond was friendly and helpful if we needed anything. Will be back and would definitely recommend a stay here.
