Sea Shore Chalet - Rockley Park

It's a beautiful mobile home and Rockley Park looked extremely impressive. It's a huge site. We felt very much at home right from the start. I'm sure the park had some great entertainment and facilities, however we mainly used the home as a base and travelled out every day so we didn't use any camp facilities.

I can't really think of anything, although if i'm being picky, as its was so hot a fan or 2 would've helped

This was a change from my regular (business) stays in Poole hotels. The static caravan was very nice -modern, spacious & well equipped.

The park is huge and it wasn't easy to find one caravan in the middle of it. As a business stay I didn't like having to provide by own bedding & towels and for that reason I wouldn't use it again.

Location, next to the nature reserve, the beach and a 40 minute walk to Poole Harbour. (Good base for local attractions such as Brownsea Island, Carey's Secret Garden, Monkey World...etc) Very good on-site facilities with easy parking. Nice, well-equipped caravan, very comfortable and bright inside. Fast, helpful communication with the owners.

This is a newer home with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable living area. Easy to find. Tracey, the cleaner and general organiser is a super star. She is not the host but she went above and beyond expectations to help us out and ensure our holiday experience was not a complete loss..

I was not informed the booking did not supply linen until after the free cancellation period had elapsed. When I messaged the host that, as overseas visitors. this was a problem, they responded it was clearly written. I could only find it buried under 'about the host' and photos show dressed beds. They did agree to provide sheets for the beds, however on arrival there were no towels, no bath mats, no hand towels, no tea towels. However, the worst experience was the shower not operating. When we rang the hosts there was no response and ultimately hosts only communicated via text. It was left to their park cleaner to organise maintenance and subsequent access to gym showers when it could not be fixed Saturday night. It was very disappointing when we returned to the property the next day and the shower was STILL not working, as no-one had followed up with maintenance. Fortunately, it could be fixed this time, but I am very disappointed that the host did not manage this and ensure repairs occurred in a timely manner.

Chalet was lovely. Clean, good location for facilities.

Clean, warm and comfortable.

The shower was frustrating to use, it was either too cold or too hot.
