Poli House Family Villa W/ Pool

Charming family home - spacious, clean, comfortable and a great swimming pool. Property just as described and portrayed in the photos. Host very welcoming with lots of helpful information. Not far from Corfu Town so easy to get into the shops, restaurants, etc. Pool maintained daily during our stay and bedding & towels changed during our stay.

Also close to the airport so aircraft noise might bother some people during busy summer months.

Beautiful location close to town but not too close. Sunrise from the balcony was spectacular. Clean and tidy. Could do with a few more utensils in the kitchen when you decide to eat in. Leo was a great host. Very helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely return.

Fabulous old Greek style house, lovely garden, great pool, great BBQ. Rooms very comfortable and spacious. View from main two bedrooms of the old port were fabulous! The house is set in a lovely location surrounded by trees with sea and port views. Pool is larger than it looks in the photos and is a great size. Owners were lovely, very attentive and easy to communicate with.

Nothing! Only thing that would have improved it was an extra umbrella outside as there is no natural shade and seating on the second balcony.

The house was beautiful and clean. We had lots of fun. Bedrooms were spacious and delightful. There were 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo so there was never a bathroom queue. There was everything you need in the house. Instructions are clear to follow. Maria and Leo were super helpful, just a message away.

Not really! Just the road in front of the house was very uneven and steep for buggy / wheelchairs. But that was not really the hosts' faults?

A spacious, well appointed villa in a quiet location (for Corfu town!). The pool is good; even better is the main balcony, which has views through trees of the newer Venetian fort and the port. If you feel like seeing one of the best sunsets of your life, wait for an evening thunderstorm (or some clouds), then peek out the west balcony instead. The house itself is elegant and well cared for.. It's in a great location - we were able to walk to the old town in 20 minutes, though we did get a cab back in the heat (!), and Maria and Leo were incredibly welcoming and kind. There are quite a lot of reminders of the house rules around. That said, they're all pretty reasonable - we were never imposed on, at all - and if you're a family looking for a good self catering place near the town, I doubt you'd do much better than this one. Thanks Maria and Leo, we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was fabulous from start to finish. We loved the pool, the balcony how spacious the house was and all the lively little touches like quotes and the relevant information needed for each room. The games basket and the speaker was an excellent touch. Our hosts were so attentive amd answered every single query so promptly.i highly recommend +

The swimming pool is good for families with kids. House equipment is nice. The four bedrooms are comfortable

There was a light smell in the house when we arrived - most probably because it has not been used for a while. The smell disappeared during the stay.

Due to the fact that the owners at first seemed very nice when we payed, it turned out a very unpleasant stay!! We were “welcomed” by a man who at first attentioned us about the thousands things we couldn’t do.. every morning he came and again “no jumping, be quiet” it was very stressful to always have someone coming and looking after us. In the house most of the drawers are locked by chained lockers and this looks and feels very bad! And we didn’t have much space to fit our clothes..A solution for the owners would be to remove their personal staff once they rent! We received a complaining about noise even if we weren’t home at that moment! The house wasn’t clean and inside there was a very bad smell! We remained very disappointed and surely won’t recommend this property! Once you rent you should leave people relax and not walk by the yard everyday! But if you come, do it for a reason (for example clean the pool !)

A lovely villa hidden of the road that is truly charming as it is the owners family home. it’s immaculate and very comfortable and we loved our stay.
