Mick's Hideaway - Semi-Secluded

Very secluded. Very cozy cabin.

Small shower.

It was quiet and peaceful.

The only thing is the towels were small. Would have liked bigger towels.

The cabin was nice

What looked like mold around the shower, the jetted tub couldn't be used because the stopper didn't work, sink had to be fixed, toilet seat had to be fixed, found a dead bug in the bed

Extremely dirty. Was bedbugs bitten by the time we left. Cocker roaches all through the kitchen. Washer was broken. Room wasn't even cleaned when we arrived as last guests dirty laundry was in the broken washer and their ensues in the shower. Pee on toilets. Dirty blankets thrown in the closet incase we didn't want to sleep on the ones they had on the dirty bedding . Cigarette ashes all through the bedroom. We were compensated 1 of our 8 nights. And told that we wouldn't even know if it was approved for the next 48 hours. We'll the 7th day we were approved but basically given that time frame we were unable to just pick up a d go find a room anywhere that was atleast halfway clean! Who plans on possibly paying for 2 full room stays on a romantic getaway? We hadn't got a private getaway from our children in over 5 yrs and we really thought picks hideaway was going to be great. We were wrong. Also don't book through a 3rd party like booking. Apparently that is why we had to go through 2 requests for ANY money back and that's why it took nearly the entire trip to get an answer. Horrible. Do not book !

The weather still had a chill in the air. I would have like to have been able to get heat out of the fireplace.
