The host Adri and her husband were really welcoming, they made us feel at home. My husband and I also loved how clean the place was and we got to see lots of animals drinking water at the pod close to the lodge. We also loved the hot tub and also getting to make fire, which was a fun exercise for us city people....lol.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very well equipped and the owners, Adri and Michael, go above and beyond to make your stay is memorable.

We loved the peace and tranquility surrounded by wild nature. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, private and secluded just how we like it. The quaint yet spacious deck overlooks a small watering hole that many animals enjoy. The gift of the cabin and its position is that you can sit on the deck sipping your coffee while nature comes to you. Families of Guinea Fowl, impala, Wildebeest, warthogs, zebra, kudu and more made up our daily viewing without going anywhere. The wood fired hot tub is the perfect place to melt away any stress and tension and just be. We felt very safe and protected at all times. The hosts are lovely, kind natured people. We experienced the perfect blend of friendly and helpful attentive hosts who gave us all the space and privacy we wanted. Overall 10 out 10 for the romantic cabin in the Big 5 reserve.

This is tranquility at its best. If you need to escape the rush of the city life and enjoy the calm and beauty of the bush, this is the place to go. The host are very friendly and it was a real pleasure to stay at the Romantic cabin in the big 5. Thank you Michael and Adri for making our short break so wonderful.
