Mile House Barn Bed & Breakfast

We were well looked after by Clare who was welcoming and went above and beyond. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting for a wedding just up the road in Rookery Hall. Breakfast was delicious (special thank you to Princess for the eggs!)

We chose the location for our purpose (nearby property viewing) and that worked well. The host was welcoming & friendly. We chose the English breakfast and that was more than adequate.

On arrival the outside area appeared a little rough and untidy. The owner's dog was very friendly but on a couple of occasions became quite nasty towards our own dog which was a little distressing for all concerned.

Friendly owner who offered a warm welcome. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable and shower hot and powerful. Breakfast was excellent.

An area for the dogs to run/exercise would have been useful. A bit of lighting along the long driveway would also have helped when exercising the dogs after dark.

It is such a beautiful property and very tastefully converted from a barn.

Accommodated for late check-in and greeted by Clare and their dog, allowed us to come and go (we nipped and grabbed a pizza nearby) had a lovely break from the children and then had an amazing breakfast and great conversations with both Claire and Partner then off to tour dagfields, thanks for having us, highly recommend
