Carlton Mansions - The Red Room

It was a good size, warm, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The host was welcoming and friendly.

I shared the bathroom which I wasn’t keen on, but it was clean. The host could have mentioned that it was above a pizza shop a) as a point of reference to find it and b) because of the smells from the shop below.

THERE IS ENTRECE LOCK IS NOT PROPER WORKING AND BAD SMELL IN HOUSE

Welcoming host, spacious room, homely attention, very comfortable bed, met all expectations

Rather narrow check in and check out times. On main A38 very busy local road made finding number of road identifying block a bit difficult from a car getting dark with bus lane outside etc. Once contact made with host waiting we had parking outside and all good.

As other reviews say, a lovely room and bed with a super friendly host. The conditions are specified but slightly non-standard but no reason not to book unless you don’t like leaving early morning.

Such a big and comfortable bed. So cosy. Great pressure in the shower and lovely wee set up in the room with a kettle and water. William the host was so warm and friendly. Great host. Can't recommend enough

I didn't like getting up early to leave but all good things must come to an end.

The mattress was absolutely frikkin bang on....... beautiful yo sleep on that bed. We also had bloody good towels

Not told to" just use the kitchen for food " It was a shite place to stop for the amount of English money around £60 in one day/night. It turned out that, on the time we arrived, on the evening, the owner apparently then said to me and my spouse that we have to leave before 8:30 am. The owner/landlord doesn't even clean the bedsit as it should be if you live in your own home. I have tried to show the pictures and videos that I have taken in this room that I have QASTED money that I struggle to live with. I will not ever say a good place for anyone to sleep there nir spending money to sleep on thus place. Erm it is actually a RED ROOM. that brings death to every person. I do not understand ehy the owner has tried to make a profit of money without making this "home for hime" So, finally I will say...... do not fookin waste any time to stop in this man's house even though you can try and take his 'old school' proppa arcade games. Soace invaders like that. Oh so I presume then, that is the only good part to walk into that building.
