"One of the best motorway hotels I’ve stayed at"

Was pleasantly surprised by the room, was maintained well, clean and comfortable. Was on the ground floor during a heatwave and the room was cool.

Only issue was the tv was smaller than anticipated

honestly everything went so easy. the room was perfectly clean and relaxing. the breakfast was really yummy. so if i could give 11 out of 10 i would. all in all brilliant.

"Clean rooms, the ‘single’ beds are smaller than uk standard and not comfortable."

The room was clean.

The twin beds are smaller than normal twin beds. It felt a bit like sleeping on a bench. My son who has a normal sized single bed even said the bed was just too small. When I booked I asked for a ground floor room. In the response it said they couldn’t promise that that would be possible. What it didn’t say is there are NO twin rooms on the ground floor. If it had said that I would have booked a different category of room to ensure a ground floor room would be available. Particularly in a hotel with no lift that information should be available. I had knee surgery a month ago and stairs are difficult, fortunately I could just about manage.

Handy location, comfortable bed

Pillow case was dirty, no spare pillows because they were busy, blood mark on quilt cover, mouldy pillow case on the single bed, no bent in the bathroom and no fans in the rooms thankfully we had our own otherwise it would have been unbearable. Also dog poo on the path leading in and on the carpet in the hotel.

Friendly staff, basic but comfortable, clean room. Great value for money.

For the price paid, nothing to complain about the hotel.
