Very disappointing – we left early We booked three nights but left after two because we felt so uncomfortable. The main issue was the kitchen: outdated, partly dirty, and with a strong smell of old frying oil. The extractor hood was greasy and had food residue, the frying pan was dirty and greasy, the dishes were plastic, there were no glasses, not enough cutlery, and no cutting board. The bathroom and the rest of the rooms were also rather old. Only two towels were provided for four people. We asked for the missing items and received a cutting board that was dirty and moldy (see photo). Only after asking again did we get a clean one. At about $90 per night, this was completely overpriced for such poor quality. This was by far the worst accommodation we stayed at in Panama. The smell of old grease in the kitchen ultimately made us leave early. To make matters worse, the landlords’ house is very close by, and on the first night they played loud music until around 2 a.m. How this property received previous positive reviews remains a mystery to me.

The property had a beautiful view of the mountains and valley containing the town of Bouchette. It was a very safe and secure property. Host was easily accessible

The house was clean and served out needs well. It was on a quiet street which we really liked. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

The kitchen had basic cooking gear but no basics such as salt, pepper, oil, sponge, dishwashing liquid. The bathroom did have soap but no shampoo. Some pillows were moldy.
