Walk to City Large Home Free Parking Dogs

A lovely warm and clean home. It was very cosy. The bathroom was immaculate and modern and the shower was amazing! A quiet location and approx 30mins walk to the city centre. We would recommend.

We were disappointed on arrival that the promised parking space was not available, particularly when we had 2 cars. It seemed the owners did not know who this was using their space. There was roadside parking though.

The atmosphere was lovely and we had a very good time. Kitchen was spacious and clean.

The house was very clean and well presented. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The shower was very good. Overall, it was a great stay.

It was very difficult to find the house as it shows in a different place on Google maps. We arrived in the dark and drove around very slowly looking for number 15. The instructions provided say it is easy to find as it has a bright red door, however there are many houses on the estate with red doors. The door numbers are not easy to see in the dark and they don't seem to be in a logical order. The instructions say to park around the back but they don't explain how to get around the back and which road the parking space and back gate are in. I think it would be a good idea to make it clear that the house is set back from the road as it is very hard to see from the road and to say it is the one with the red door in between one with a blue door and one with a green door would be helpful as there are several houses with red doors directly opposite. We gave up looking for the house after driving around a few times and decided to look for the parking space instead. We found some parking spaces for Franks Avenue but they were not the right ones. We eventually found more on Bennett Drive but they were not clearly labelled. It would be helpful if there was a sign saying "parking for Franks Avenue" like there was by the other spaces. We guessed they must be the right spaces despite being in a different road as the instructions did say "around the back". I suggest adding in "in Bennett Drive" to avoid confusion. The numbers on the spaces were quite faded and hard to see in the dark and someone was parked in number 15 so we parked in number 14 and left a note. My partner and I then got out to go and look for the house whilst his sister and mum stayed in the car. We spent 10 minutes walking around, trying to find the house. We did find the back gate quite quickly and saw the number 15 but as it was on Bennett Drive we were unsure if it was the right number 15. If we had managed to find the front of the house, we could have worked it out.

Very well equipped clean comfortable and spacious house, the host has clearly put a lot of thought into making the accommodation feel homely and welcoming. It was good to find that the walk into the centre of Hereford could be done avoiding any main roads via the linking alleys and park area.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Nice little house in a peaceful area, walking distance from the town centre. Great amenities and value for money.

It wasn’t very welcoming. Some shower gel, an extra toilet roll and a bunch of flowers would have helped.
