Charming 3 Bed House in Bristol

Well positioned for access to Parkway stations (daughter and friends visit used train). Sufficient accommodation for our needs 3 adults. Could park at back of property with good access to house. BUT very crowded modern housing estate, we drove a Qash Qai, but access would be difficult/impossible at times for anything bigger. Kitchen and dining area both adequate for needs. Comfortable lounge with seating and TV. Downstairs WC and entrance area. Quiet despite being next to main road. Clean with good provision of linen, etc. Central heating but radiators needed repair (control taps).

Despite being on a busy housing estate not close to local shops, health club was opposite with three local take away shops next door. Several local pubs were accessible and good local buses if required. Not a rural setting and limited garden which could have been a nice patio area for sitting out, but no garden furniture. THE OWNERS SHOULD NOTE: No information folder in property - Could not initially use internet as access code rubbed away and one letter wrong J! Could not use oven and grill as setting at front rubbed away with age! Although instruction manuals for appliances provided, instructions too small to read. Toaster shorted out ring main to TV and internet router first night. Mains electricity box high up on wall and no steps to reach, had to stand on chair. ALL THIS could have been avoided by little time and attention to putting together a welcome folder with ESSENTIAL information for using the property, overcoming obvious problems and giving local information on local amenities. Needs a new toaster and better range of cooking utensils such scissors that can be used and casserole dishes for oven. Fortunately the M&S chicken came in its own metal tin! Could also do with vacuum clearer.

Spacious house in quiet location with parking. Ideal for our visit to Bristol.

Unable to read the settings on the cooker as they have rubbed off, but we worked it out with the instruction booklet.

Visited with some friends, the house was very clean and tidy. Beds were super comfy and the house was well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.
