QASpacious apartment for our family stay. Nice balcony area to relax. Great host who went out of his way to welcome & make comfortable. We asked for fans and a washing machine and he sorted it. The property is outside of main town Ella so we took a Tuk Tuk there and back.
BEDe gastheer was uiterst behulpzaam om allerlei probleempjes op te lossen
We hadden deze woning gekozen omwille van de geadverteerde wasmachine. Deze bleek bij aankomst niet aanwezig en moest vanuit een andere woning overgebracht worden. Enkel een waslijn buiten , niet erg handig bij regen 🫣 - geen wasrek binnenshuis., opgelost met stoelen en hangers. De elektriciteit was in geschikt voor de wasmachine (lampen sprongen. elektriciteit viel uit). De gastheer bood ons gelukkig aan om de was elders te doen. Stopcontact in de slaapkamer beneden gaf een vonk wanneer we onze telefoon wilden laden. Ook in de ochtend viel de elektriciteit uit omdat we de lamp in de badkamer blijkbaar niet mochten uitschakelen. Flikkerende lamp naast de slaapkamer. Elektrische aansluiting moet grondig nagekeken worden, het gaf ons een minder veilig gevoel.

Bad washrooms. Very wet washrooms. Shower is between toilet and sink. No division in between.

NLThis lady is the most friendly host we have meet during our stay in Sri Lanka. She even played with our two small children (3 and 4 years old). We had some monkeys in the garden several times. The house is spacious and very nice. The water filter was a big plus! We really enjoyed our stay here. Just a 10 minutes ride by tuktuk to the city center. Very quiet surroundings.
