Apartments Amalfi Design Sea View accessible by 250 steps

The view is amazing, it has a great terrace. The host were great, always willing to help.

Overall I have no complaints.

We loved the view and the local areas.

Lots of steps to don’t overpack luggage or hire a porter service.

My stay at Apartments Amalfi was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bedrooms and every corner of the space felt inviting and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better – right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the major attractions and amenities. Yet, despite being centrally located, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The view from the place is amazing. We loved spending time in the terrace as well. Paula was an exceptional host, providing clear communication throughout the booking process and offering helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. As mentioned in the posting, you will have to climb 250 steps to reach the place but we were prepared for that. You will reach the center of Amalfi once you get down and getting a ferry or bus is only less than 5 min walf after that.

View to die for! two bathrooms were a luxury for us! Clean, hot water, water pressure all very good. We had a balcony with doors from both rooms and a huge terrace on the roof with lounge chairs and its own bathroom and outside showers. We came by Ferry from Capri and Paula met us at the docks on arrival, stopped in her office for check and key and her husband took us up to the apartment. Stayed 5 nights and used it as a base to see the whole cost. Recommend ferry travel over bus. Paula can help you arrange just about anything you need!

Stairs were hard, especially the first day going up with luggage. we only had carry on rollers and small backpacks but it is 260 steps overall. if you have any health issues be cautious. The next four days we got use to it, but still moving pretty slow by the top flights!

The apartment is comfortable and clean with everything you would expect, except a washing machine. (There is a launderette in Amalfi.) The view from the windows is incredible but we also had use of the large roof terrace where we frequently ate breakfast, sometimes our evening meal or just sat with a drink and watched the boats coming and going in the port below as the sun went down. There are a lot of steps, about 260, to climb to the apartment so you need to be aware of this. However the location is worth it. Note that you can get a porter service to bring your bags to the apartment when you arrive. It is pricey at €20 per bag but worth it. Ask Paola to arrange it. Also note that the porter service stops at 18.00 so plan to arrive by 17.00 or you may not get bags delivered until the following morning. Going down is easier as you can get to the road down a shorter flight of steps and then walk along the road to the port.
