Casa Lucie Luxury 3 Bed detached villa in Los Mojones PDC

We had clear instructions on how to get to the Villa and how to access the keys. The Villa was well equipped and had everything you could need.

One of the sofas in the pool area was broken when we arrived, so we tended not to use it as there was plenty of seating available. The lighting to the outside of the property was on a timer and went out quite early.

Good instructions and easy to get the keys from the key box.

Recently stayed at Casa Lucie and unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations, particularly given how the property is marketed. The main issue was the heated pool, which was a key reason for booking. It was not working properly on arrival error code ee03 and took around three days to heat up. Even then, the temperature was still too cold to use comfortably. As a result, we only used the pool once briefly and didn’t return, which was very disappointing. There were also several maintenance and cleanliness concerns. The outdoor canopy leaked during rain and continued dripping for days, suggesting water pooling above. The outdoor furniture and cushions were in poor condition and appeared dirty, likely from animals using them, we saw cat fur and claws on at least 2 cushions. The furniture overall felt quite tired the pictures showing a pristine apartment are obviously quite old. The TV and satellite stations were totally unusable this might have been our problem. Inside the villa, basic essentials such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths and kitchen cleaning spray were not provided, which you would normally expect in a property of this standard. Kitchen otherwise was well equipped. You want it cleaning help us do it!! The host did arrange for the pool guy to attend, and communication was responsive, but the problem with the pool heater meant that it significantly impacted the stay. Overall, while the villa has potential to be fantastic, but it did not match the standard shown on the website. The issues with the pool and maintenance detracted from what should have been a relaxing holiday. The cushions and beds simply need a good clean, simple fix but not what was expected. We stay in self catering accommodation many times each year in many different countries and therefore are not inexperienced travelers. We know what we book and what to expect. This could and should have been great - a few days deep cleaning and sorted !!

We were really looking forward to our stay and the photos looked fabulous. We stay in a villa in PDC every year. While this villa has great potential, it would benefit from a deep clean and a refresh. The master bedroom was very nice, and the bathrooms were fine overall.

There was a damp smell in two of the bedrooms, with visible mould around the windows and air-conditioning units in bedrooms and in the kitchen. There was no welcome basket, which has been standard in other villas we’ve stayed in, and no welcome information pack provided. Unfortunately, the first two days were very wet and we couldn’t sit under the pergola as it dripped heavily, soaking the outdoor furniture and cushions. The pool was a bit grubby, and the pool cover/curtain was frayed and left residue in the water each time it was used. The rug in the sitting room was also very grubby. The bedding needs a re-fresh. The buttons on the duvet wouldn't close.

The whole villa was clean and well equipped, swimming pool and pool area were really nice. Location is great, not overlooked by any other properties.

Great location, short walk to supermarkets and the amazing restaurants in old town but a nice quiet safe area. Fantastic warm pool perfect for our small kids to enjoy with loads of pool toys included.

Beautiful modern ,very clean .villa .3 excellent ensuites, and the pool was heated .excellent location.
