Great location and a well equipped house, everything we needed was provided. There was plenty of room on the drive for our 3 cars although one of them is quite small which helped a lot, but otherwise there is a car park up the road which does a weeks parking for a reasonable price. Comfortable beds and good showers. Having a washing machine a bonus, just a shame that the weather wasn't reliable enough to hang the washing out.The pint of milk with tea and coffee provided was much appreciated after a long drive, and the wine too! Good communication from the owner.

The oven's dials have lost their markings, and there were no instructions in the house to refer to, (or if there were we couldn't find them), which probably won't be a problem if you're used to that type of oven. We had to look online for an instruction manual to work out where the dial should be for different functions. That's the only thing though, we had a very enjoyable stay.

This property is located very conveniently for access to a buzzing parade of shops and it is located close to the 2 quays for boat or ferry rides Pros General Very spacious house (3 bedroom and 2 bathroom) Very well designed There is a very large garden The property isn't overlooked due to the extensive foliage Very well cleaned and presentable The property has a driveway. This is ideal because parking on the street is limited. Living room Comfortable seating Comfortable window seat Smart TV (had Netflix, Amazon prime, BBC iplayer and many more) Well decorated with attractive plants Kitchen diner Very spacious It had an 8 seater dining table Good view of the patio to the garden Kitchen was fully functional with an oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and a coffee machine but pods aren't provided Very effective electric hob for cooking meals Ample cutlery and crockery was provided Kitchen has a small utility room which houses the washing machine A handful of dishwasher tablets was provided as well as dish soap. A small amount of washing powder was provided Garden It has a 6 seater outdoor dining table on the lowest section The garden is divided into 3 sections and is on a slope. In the highest section, sunbeds and rotary was provided with pegs The garden has a gate, which doesn't have a padlock, that can lead you to the front of the house. Bedrooms There are 3 Bedrooms upstairs. 2 of them are larger. 1 is slightly smaller All of the bedrooms have double beds, adequate storage and mirrors Bathrooms The house has 2 bathrooms. 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs The upstairs has a bathtub and is of good size The downstairs bathroom is smaller and has a shower cube

General The lighting throughout the property is dim The door handles are very stiff and quite difficult to open The driveway is very narrow and 4x4's will have a very hard time. The garden gate is unlocked. Therefore, from a security point of view, you need to be aware of this. The house can get very warm in summer Bathroom The extractor fan isn't effective Kitchen The icons around the oven dials have faded

Location of the property was fantastic - less than 10mins walk to the town and harbour. A stones throw from the train station. The host was wonderful - when we managed to lock ourselves out she was understanding and resolved the issue without problem. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and spacious which was lovely. Added little extras make all the difference - beach towels for guests use, toiletries, milk provided, lovely bottle of wine. All just very thoughtful.

House is lovely and spacious, we booked it for my daughters graduation and although there were 6 of us staying, we also had visitors who were staying in neighbouring accommodation, so at some points there were 9 of us visiting st once, but we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Comfortable bedrooms, great facilities in the kitchen for cooking and excellent communication from the host. Really welcomed the bottle of wine and tea/coffee/milk on arrival, nice touch! Great location too, I have stayed in a few properties in Falmouth and this was by far the best, it was perfect for our group.

If I was being really picky. The property would benefit from making fans available in the bedrooms. We stayed when the weather was very warm and with the shutters on the windows, this limited airflow making the bedrooms stuffy and hot. However to be fair, I didn’t mention this to the host as our stay was short, I’m sure the host would have accommodated our needs.

Breakfast N/A but Falmouth is still a lovely interesting Cornish port with ample eateries and shops etc.

Bedroom and bathroom doors knobs were excesively difficult to turn especially if one had washed ones hands recently and one bedroom door knob was fitted upside down ie leading to trying to open it by turning the knob in the wrong direction, a problem if trying to evacuate in an emergency for instance.
