Property was well furnished and comfortable in a nice area with ample parking

Good home, well rounded.

I would say this so that the property can be 10/10, not 8/10 clean the fridge. Change the chairs in kitchen Put new blinds were broken Keep heating on and hot water in cold days, prior to.guest ariving.

Location was good, house was nice. It was warm, host left us some bread and milk was was lovely. No horrible smell that had been reviewed last month.

It was a bit grubby, the TV is faulty and screen blue, the baking tray in the oven was thick with grease, flannels had been used to clean and left wet on stairs carpet. 4 of us stayed for Christmas but they only left us 3 dining chairs although the photo shows 4. Some of the crockery is chipped, no hand towel in downstairs toilet. The bed is the main bedroom is really uncomfortable.

The house was modern and decor was ok.

After we had arrived, we were eventually given the code for the property. The property seemed nice when we first arrived, but we soon found issues. The shower scaulded our son when he tested the water, and was unusable. No plug for the bath, so we couln't use this as an alternative. Cob webs in high and low areas of the kitchen, and the existing crockery and cutlery had to be re-washed as it was greasy and had old food still on it. Downstairs TV screen was faulty and the screen was blue in all modes. Very hard on the eyes and unwatchable. Various bulbs out all over the house and the blinds on the kitchen patio doors wouldn't close. The boiler stopped working altogether on the Saturday evening, so yet again no shower. No hot water and no heating either, so very grim. The owner, who lives abroad so we found out, sent someone around on the Friday morning, and sort of fixed the shower, brought a plug and a few bulbs. But the general attitude was that he was not the owner so could only fix so much, and the TV was an expensive item to replace! We were not offered any compensation and our grievences were dismissed. After the boiler stopped working altogether on the Saturday evening, we didn't bother to get in touch again because we new nothing would be done. This made us question how safe the property was, as the sticker on the boiler said that the next service should be done in 2017!! Is there a Gas safety certificate? Overall, we were extremely disappointed and angry that we had paid good money to stay there, and most of the listed facilities were not useable. Would not stay there again, and due to the attitude of the owner, would not recommend anyone else to either, until some of our rental payments are spent on getting the property up to what is advertised.
