The Lake House - Private Hot Tub

Location was just what was needed... scenic peaceful and comfortable.

Only little things that didnt affect the weekend more of a recommendation... I think it could do with a sweep of the cobwebs outside to bring it up to a higher standard and replace the dining chair that was broken and repaired... other than that I think it was spot on .

The use of space in the lodge was very inventive so the bedrooms,bathroom, cooking and seating areas were perfect for our group of three women. In addition there was a spacious outdoor area with excellent seating , a barbecue, a great hot tub and a wonderful cosy fire pit within a table making sitting around in the evening very enjoyable. The lodge felt very private and secluded, and on top of the staff were brilliant, both before and during our stay.

Absolutely nothing.

The Lodge was well equipped and laid out. We went for my 50th, and we wanted peace and seclusion, and that's exactly what we got here. Watching the moorhens swimming about and the many fish jumping out of the lake from a hot tub (with a glass of champagne) was glorious. And the weather was beautiful too, which was an added bonus. My husband left his sunglasses in the hot tub, and Jack was kind enough to post them back to us. If you're after tranquillity, nature, and relaxation, then don't hesitate to book here.

Mattress was a bit soft for our liking, but it's a small thing and could be perfect for someone else.

Everything was great, the property was super clean and we had a great couple of nights sleep. The kettle was a work of art too. Highlight of the trip was the hot tub but after spending the best part of 3 hours in there it would have been nice to turn the heat up to 45/50 degrees but maybe we should have just got out sooner…LOL! The gate being controlled by my mobile phone was also really convenient too. We also checked out Arundel and went for a lovely long walk in the South Downs National Park in Midhurst. We’ll definitely be coming back in the summer!

The bathroom smelt a bit damp when we arrived but I left the large bathroom window open over night and it seemed to sort the problem out. A couple of large bathrobes would have been greatly appreciated too but these are the only things that could be improved on; without doubt Choller Lake Lodges get a 9/10.
