Location was good on a calm road, free parking available.

Very untidy and smelly apartment. Someone cooked fish in the property and it was so smelly that we couldn’t sleep. Heating and hot water was not working till 10 pm. I had to call the staff and he started blaming me that I have switched off the boiler. I was expecting a warm flat even before check in. We checked in at 6 pm and flat was cold and no hot water till 10 pm. No windows in the main room and no direct sunlight in the room. Bath room is not en-suite rather you have to come out of the room and it’s quite cold outside. Heating stopped working midnight and bathroom was ice cold in the morning. We booked this flat for two nights but we have to leave the flat next day only after staying one night.

I had a wonderful stay overall and really enjoyed the time spent at this property. Although the place is a bit small, it’s very cozy and offers great value for money.

I just wanted to gently point out that the description of the apartment could be a bit clearer. The listing states that the apartment comprises a kitchen, seating area, and two separate bedrooms, which led me to expect a larger space. In reality, there isn’t a second separate bedroom; instead, there is one room that combines a small private kitchen and bedroom, with only curtains separating the spaces rather than a door. While I wasn’t disappointed by this, I believe a more detailed description would help manage expectations for future guests. Also, I noticed that the kettle was in really poor condition, with a thick limescale layer that made it unusable.

Landlord friendly, good location, close to bus and train services. Free off road parking.

Photos and description are somewhat deceiving. Private bathroom but not ensuite. You have to leave your room via a curtainained passage way to get to a separate bathroom. Rooms separated by curtains, so not very private if sharing with friends. Advertised as two bedrooms but second is a double futon in the kitchen. Garden was like a builders yard, not really somewhere to relax. Having said that, if you're just wanting somewhere to sleep for the night then it's value for money. Definitely not luxury.

Very comfy bed, quiet house very peaceful, homely with good WiFi. Highly recommended.
