This is a spacious, well equipped ground floor apartment, with a brilliant terrace, in the heart of Kos Town. Bed spacious and comfortable with good quality bedding (needs better pillows). Bedside tables and plug sockets on both sides (and loads of plug sockets in the apartment). Gap between the bed and the wall is narrow on one side, so consider this if you have mobility issues. There is no wardrobe or chest of drawers for your clothes. Instead there is a double hanging rail, which is adequate. The bathroom had everything we needed. Only issue was that the shower curtain creeps towards you as you wash, and then it sticks to you! Gah! But the shower itself is great, it has a top sprinkler and a removable shower head. The kitchen facilities are really good, although the counter top is higher than average, so think about this if you are both on the shorter side. We really wanted a toaster. I asked, and the owner brought one! He also brought treats from the bakery for us and the other apartments. What a lovely man! In the apartment there is also a living room (although everything is open-plan). This could be useful if visiting in the winter. One of the best features of the apartment is the spacious terrace outside. It is right on the street, but the fence and the plants give you a sense of privacy, whilst still being able to watch people going by. The terrace has 2 settees and a big coffee table, perfect for entertaining a couple of friends. Happy to report that the aircon, wifi, and double glazing were excellent, and it was really good that the kitchen window had a mosquito net on it. It would be nice if the window also had a blind on it - on Sunday morning people go to the church behind the apartment, and can see right in! Not ideal if you are dashing to the loo in the nude!

Regarding the location of the apartment, there are pros and cons. We loved staying on Averof Street - it is close to the best Chinese restaurant in town (Twin Dragon), across the road from Jackson's Bar (live music several nights a week), a short walk to the Sunburnt Arms (Brit food and good beer), and only a few minutes walk into town (try the Blues Brothers Bar for old music and a great view of the harbour). Averof has tavernas, bars, places to hire bikes and scooters, plenty of shops, and a cycle lane to get you around. Perfect! Also note that next door to the apartment is a 24 hour supermarket. Well okay, it is more like a mini market, but it has a lot of good products (especially fruit and veg) for self catering, and the prices are only a tiny bit higher than in the big supermarkets in Kos Town, so it is really ideal that it is only next door. You will get everything you need there. The only negative is that the apartment is opposite a bar called Uniq, which blasts out incredibly loud, annoying music, until 1am (week days) and 3am (Saturdays). You can't hear the noise from inside the apartment, but it is extremely annoying if you are sitting on the terrace outside. If you like going to night clubs, you probably won't mind the noise, but it did get on our nerves eventually. Honestly, I would like to start a petition to get the place closed down! It is the only negative thing about the apartment, which is otherwise brilliant. Until Uniq closes down, we will unfortunately not stay there again. So sad!

Mooi nieuw en groot appartement.

Nooit meegemaakt: wij komen niet schoonmaken als er gasten zijn! Dus alles zelf doen😡😡😡erg vreemd. Keuken afval, wc afvalbak, linnen😳😳😳en geen schone handdoeken!!! Moest ik om vragen.

Alles war super an der Unterkunft, es wurde wirklich auf jedes Detail geachtet

Die Lage ist zwar super, aber leider seeeeehr laut am Wochenende

Super lokalizacja, parę kroków do plaży, różnych restauracji i sklepów. W wyniku małego incydentu w mieszkaniu, mieliśmy okazję poznać właściciela - przemiły człowiek, ktory chce zapewnić swoim gościom jak najlepszy pobyt.

Mieszkanie jest polozone na przeciwko klubu, muzyka gra do późnych godzin i słychać ją bardzo wyraźnie. Nie polecam dla osób z lekkim snem:)
