The house overall was very comfortable for a short stay and provided all the amenities you would need. The host was helpful and available when you needed them. Neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful.

I think from the photos we did assume the house would be more remote (in the middle of nowhere type!) so we were surprised to find out that it was along the main but quiet road. It didn't impact our stay, but maybe we had different expectations. The facilities were good, we had what we needed for such a short stay, but if you're going to stay for much longer then I recommend finding a bigger supermarket first to stock up as the local stores were very limited. (and only accept Portuguese bank cards). Also, there was only one sofa ( suitable for 2 people, maybe three at a push) so two adults would have to sit on wooden dining chairs. Not essential for us but for a longer stay, it might have been a nicer touch! ! (living room is small so not much you can do about this!)

A casa é muito difícil de aquecer e não tem equipamento que faça esse serviço como deve de ser. A cozinha tem alguns utensílios em falta como por exemplo uma colher de pau, uma vez que tem frigideiras antiaderentes.
