The Hillocks, Looe - Two Bedroom House with Fabulous Views of Looe Town and Harbour

Charming 2-bedroom house with a lovely view of Looe from the living room and the master bedroom. Very quick walk into town. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained.

Walking to the house requires walking up a steep hill and around 80 steps. We got used to it, but it is worth bearing in mind. The terrace decking is not very inviting. The only thing I would say about the house is that it would be nice to have mirror in the 2nd bedroom.

The view! Plus it was clean and pretty well equipped. Attentive and pleasant host. We enjoyed exploring Looe and the local area. The terrace was nice to sit for breakfast or evening drink. WiFi, tv, etc all good.

The directions could have been more detailed - we got lost. It is up a VERY steep hill and steps which makes for great views but the property is not suitable for anyone with accessibility issues. A small welcome pack in the kitchen would have been a nice touch but I know not all self catering places offer this.

Location and view was excellent, the house was clean, great communication with the property manager.

There are missing essential cooking utensils and the mattress was a little uncomfortable. However, this has been noted by the property manager.

Living room furniture really uncomfy

It was clean and nicely furnished. It had a phantastic view over the town and the river. The wonderful outside deck is nice (except for the bird droppings). The bathroom was perfect.

There are a few things that could be improved: The kitchen equipment is a bit spartanic, there could be more cutlery and plates, salad bowls and a mixer etc. The very worn out carpet in the downstairs living room should be exchanged for a nicer one. And for a two-week stay box-spring bed in the master bedroom is too uncomfortable. And the outside deck needs cleaning because all the bird droppings.
