Cove Anantaha Loft & Villa

Lovely place in a great spot

Could’ve been a little cleaner

We were so pleased with our stay at Cove Anantaha ; the loft was modern, well-equipped and nestled in a peaceful area, offering a quiet retreat but also conveniently located near numerous restaurants.  I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is only 11 km (12-18 min drive) from the complex. The lower floor area was equipped with a lounge, TV,  kitchen and compact swimming pool; ideal for 2 guests. Meanwhile, the upper area was completed with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. Friendly & helpful staff. The cleaners also did an exceptional job. It was such a relief to return to a spotless villa after a long day. We're already thinking about when we can come back and stay for longer.

I liked that the furniture is new, and the place looks as nice as the pictures. Some team staff was very nice.

The bathroom was dirty, I found a hair from another costumer and I left there on purpose to see if they would clean, but stayed in the same place for the all 5 days I stayed. The shower area was very dirty, and behind the toilet as well. They also did very bad clean in the kitchen, but they sent the team to clean again when I showed them the pictures. The towels and bed sheet had stains on it. The pool was also dirty so we didn’t get in. You also only get sun for max 2 hours in the balcony, so the pool is very cold. They change the towels only every 2 days, but mine in 5 days they only changed once, the second time they just ignored. The bed was uncomfortable for me, very hard and the pillows were too high and also hard. The breakfast it’s really bad, we couldn’t eat at all so we decided to cancel this service for the rest of the trip. For some reason they made up, I was only offered a refund of 3 days of breakfast (we stayed 5 days and 6 nights). I’m waiting for 15 days already and I didn’t get my money yet. It’s been 5 days that I’m trying to get a reply from them, but they’re not very interested in solve my issue, so I’ll have to contact bank and booking.com to get my money back.

Really nice Villa, staff are super friendly and always there and happy to help if you need.

Not very sound proof, can hear people in the other Villas quite clearly can be hard when trying to sleep or relax outside.

Near construction and the contractor may see us through the upper window. Lack of privacy.
