A Mountain & Country Haven

Lovely quiet estate and lovely Mountain View’s. Sleep quality is good. There is a very well equipped little kitchenette and shower is spacious and we had plenty of hot water. A very comfortable spot and nearby the town but out of the bustle. Hosts are generous with a welcome bottle of wine and coffee and tea.

Honestly there was very little not to like. Our only slight bugbear was that the room was a little light at night but we are used to a very dark room so maybe just our issue.

Perfect location quiet, private super comfortable . Fabulous recommendations from host about what to see do and where to eat. Complementary wine was great, and special books to look at.

It was very comfortable with many extra touches and little luxuries. We were there during a spell of heavy rain and were warm and cosy. The view from the room and balcony of the mountains near Stanford was exceptional. Burt was very welcoming and gave us good advice about restaurants. We hope to stay there again.

The room is spacious with a detailed personal touch .A relaxing location with stunning views , we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves Burt is an amazing host. We also loved the fact that town is a walking distance , the stay is close proximity to Stanford attractions .

It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

Fantastic place for a stay-over. Friendly owners. Very clean and everything we needed. Even received a free bottle of wine! Thank you! Highly recommended.
