This is better than the photos make it out to be and fully deserving of the perfect rating. Perfect location, walkable to the main village square. Cozy and rustic with enhanced design features and thoughtful details throughout. Amazing and friendly communication with the host. And an outstanding value for this area.

"Perfect little haven in Clarens"

The place itself was magnificent, and ideal for our short getaway! Our stay was made even more enjoyable as a brochure about Clarens was shared with us beforehand and communication was prompt and efficient.

"It really felt like a little haven,"

We had a breathtaking mountain view, and an easy walk took us to the square. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linen and a choice of coverings. The kitchen is well equipped, and we found everything we needed.

We couldn't sit on the garden chairs at the braai, they sink into the grass. The lovely old bench on the stoep is not comfortable. Cushions are provided, but they didn't quite do the job.

The special touches like the lovely handsoaps and bath crystals were a bonus.

The braai grid on which the wood fire is stacked needs replacing and the "rooster" that hangs at the LOVE wall needs a thorough cleaning

Location very central to everything. Only had to use the car when we headed out of town. View from the veranda was beautiful. We were 2 couples and it was comfortable. Loads of lovely touches. Great to be able to BBQ in the evenings. Shower strength was fantastic. Loads of lovely walks just on the doorstep.
