House by the Sea, Worthing

The view was lovely. The binocular was great. The house was warm and bright. Loved the shops just outside the house. WiFi was good. There was bread, milk and butter in the fridge. The hosts were lovely. Catherine and Stuart helped us park the car and move our things.

One of the toilet door locks was broken. The toilets could have been a bit more clean. The living room upstairs has no curtains or blinds. Take your own chrome cast as the tv is outdated.

The location is superb- right in the heart of Worthing with great bars, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. The property is spotlessly clean and well appointed with an amazing lounge on the 2nd floor with views over Marine Parade and Worthing Pier. I really enjoyed my 7 days living here and would have loved to stay a little longer

Although the property is surprisingly quiet for being downtown and next to the main coastal road, if you are a light sleeper you may be disturbed by the traffic and/or seagulls early morning. This was fixed by some earplugs

Would benefit from some simpler instructions to work the TV and also Roman blinds in the bedrooms

The location is excellent, the cleanliness is impeccable, everything is organized to make guests feel at home. I can't help but mention the breakfast items that the hosts provide, which are incredible.

The location was premium for promenading and we visited the beach every day. Also very close to shops, restaurants and cafes.

The top floor sitting room is fantastic with the balcony view. Just remember everything you need from the kitchen before you head upstairs. You need to be fairly fit to stay here!

1. Pleasant, helpful and informative hostess. 2. Great location with a sea view, sliding doors and balcony. 3. Adequate parking around - even on a weekend in August. 4. Unexpected welcome pack in the fridge, plus tea, coffee, sugar etc.

Nothing really - although a little booklet listing recommended pubs, bars, restaurants etc. would be a welcome addition!

Property is lovely , everything felt fresh and new and it was very clean and well presented. Location close to beach and amenities and the welcome by the host was fab and generous. Basic cleaning stuff was kindly provided to help settle in. The terrace views from the upstairs lounge are great and a true delight for summer evenings.

There was no or very limited storage in the bedroom for clothes. 7 day stay with two suitcases and three of us was a squeeze … so pack compactly !
