River Run Ranch - Telemark

Our host was super, we got our own horses for the three nights we were there and it was a really enjoyable location with lovely views

Nothing to complain about

Linda is a great host. We really enjoyed riding the horses and were positively surprised that we were allowed to borrow the ATV for a cool ride to an amazing lake on top of the mountain. The location is great and Linda and Johan did a superb job in making it as comfortable as possible for us.

It was like a fairytale. Linda is so sweet and helpful. The whole family had a blast with the animals and enjoyed the area. We will definetly be back.

Comfortable house with all amenities, including full fibre internet, easily accessible location, terrific scenery. Above all we liked Linda and her friendly stable of horses and three entertaining goats. Linda is a professional riding instructor, and the horses are really special: retired showjumpers, dressage horses etc. now free to relax on the farm and have some fun. Our daughter loves horses and went hacking most afternoons, and helped groom the horses before they were stabled each night. But even if horses aren't your thing, River Run Ranch is also a great location for general tourism around the area: the lakes and mountains in Telemark are like Scotland on steroids! - and the towns around the region are attractive too (we loved the Handelslaget Cafe in nearby Vradal) and the ranch is well-placed for skiing and other outdoor sports. Booking River Run was the best travel decision we've made so far this year!

For us, nothing - it was just great!
