Staff shifty Advertised as ensuit luxury hut. We got small tiny hut just room for a bed. Toilet was outside having walk through cold. We are in our 60s..this should not be advertised in winter!! Not a winter stay!! We did not get large king-size hut we paid for. Very overpriced. We paid more than 4 star hotel room

Kettle would be preferable in the bedroom. Does anyone actually use a nespresso machine? Kitchen is outdoors so not a comfortable place to be if it’s raining and cold. Only one hot plate so tricky to prepare meals. Dark for part of the walk to bathroom in night. Bring a torch.

GBGBGBA rather quirky but very pleasant place to stay with very friendly owners who care about their guest's experience. The quirky part is having the shower and toilet located a little walk away meaning dressing gown and slippers required at all times to visit. However, once at the shower/toilet room, it is very well appointed with an excellent shower. Effectively self-catering with a communal kitchen and a coffee machine in the cabin. Truly in the country
AUMy husband and I loved our stay at Toad Hall Lodges. Gavin was a great host and made us feel welcome. We felt really relaxed after 2 nights here. The flower farm up the road was a great activity on one of the days - where we picked our own fresh flowers. Thanks for the recommendation!
