Harrington's on the Terrace - Murchison by Tiny Away

It was clean and we knew it would be small. Good location just a few minutes from Te Anau. Mountains in the distance.The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well kitted out including a single induction hob which enabled us to cook a simple meal on one of the nights.

It was very small and we had to leave our luggage in the car. The toilet hadn’t been emptied and this then blocked. It was cold at night. There was no soap in the shower and the floor in the kitchen area needed repairs. In all we felt it was very expensive for what it is - glorified camping.

The cabin is small and cozy, well equipped and with a nice view of the countryside with mountains in the background. There is a comfortable bed, a small kitchenware, kettle and toaster. Everything you need for a short stay

The cabin gets very warm with good weather and very cold in the morning, but there is AC/heater to solve this. Wifi not available, it would be nice to add it.

Cute; clean; convenient. Great stop between Milford Sound and Queenstown. Great light. Fabulous Mountain View’s. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

No WiFi

Although tiny, the property was perfect - clean, comfortable, great shower and all the amenities you would find in a hotel with bonus of being in a quiet, rural retreat with great views and 5 mins from Te Anau - which was a lovely little town. The host was friendly and accomodating and, although no WiFi or TV, this was not required due to the lovely setting. If you enjoy the best of glamping, this is one for you.
