Villa Nana Sanur Cozy 1-Bedroom Studio with Pool, Near Sanur Beach

My partner and I stayed at this property for one night and we absolutely loved it! The host was very communicative and made everything easy for us. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and nearby cafes. We also enjoyed having access to the pool, which was a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you.

No breakfast. I LIKED: the neighbors, the neighborhood, big TV, 2 ACs, & the bed; the hot water heater was replaced a week later, and the apt was cleaned several days later, sort of; my money for the electricity was refunded 1 ½ weeks after I paid it, “they” hired a responsible young man in charge of apologies and making property improvements.

NO ONE MET ME, no email: though I emailed twice I would (and did) arrive at 3PM, no one was there and no reply to my emails. A neighbor heard me shaking the outside gate & eventually directed me to the apartment. Keys in the door. It was DIRTY: Entire apartment had accumulated dirt & construction dust– the kitchen and bath sinks, counters, toilet, & floors were dirty. Furniture had piles of dirt swept under. Under-sink trashcan was full and next to stacks of discarded packaging. New kitchenware was on the counter for me to wash. NO CLEANING SUPPLIES. No soaps, towels (neither paper nor cloth), sponges, broom, mop … NOTHING. Wore flipflops to shower that night to discover NO HOT WATER. NO NOTES FROM RENTER. NO WIFI name or password until I texted; the 1st reply hours after arrival. ELECTRICITY COUNT-DOWN SWITCH. Five nights later, I awoke to the A/C switched off. All electricity turned off at 3AM. Apartment has a meter counter that switches off all power when it hits -0-. My neighbor was able to restart the meter after “I” paid for him to transfer funds to the power company. This bought me another week. I wrote and called BOOKING.COM several times to help me with this hands-off, noncommunicating management company. I received apologies and promises to get back with me in 24 or 48 hours. Didn’t happen. ALSO: Cheap sofa bed with iron slats just beneath very thin padding. Large or out-of-shape guests will have a difficult time with the toilet. You MUST sit at 45 degrees or hit your head on the opposite wall. And the plastic seat collapses if not remaining balanced. Shower quickly, as the drain is slow. Air vents in the walls let hot air in and aircon out; a former door exit had been closed off, leaving a 20x30-inch iron lattice 'window' hidden behind a curtain... with no glass. Oh, bring your own hangers.
