1 Bedroom Haven in Taunton

Fantastic apartment. Very easy to find, great location backing onto a supermarket. Just outside the town centre so very quiet but only 10 minutes walk to all the restaurants and bars. Free onsite parking, very clean, very modern and spacious. Faultless!

Check in and communication. Was blamed on the fact that we were from overseas. Could have reached us through hotels.com Spent 2hours trying to contact someone to get an address, when we finally got contact had to stand in the cold in the car park to do an online checkin. Apartment was nice but i think they forgot to clean the bathroom. We enjoyed Taunton would recommend the town but find somewhere else to stay.

I travelled to Taunton by train to watch cricket and do some walking. The property is conveniently positioned for both, comfortable, clean and well fitted out. The town centre is just a short walk away. However confirmation of the lock box code for access was not provided 24 hours prior as promised and I had to chase, which was a bit stressful. On my return I was advised the security deposit will not be returned due to a burn mark from the iron on the carpet. I was staying on my own to watch cricket for 3 days and walk on the other. So I had no absolutely no need for an iron and it never left the wardrobe! I advised the owners of this but they are refusing to respond and I am being forced to consider legal action to recover my money. Not good. Be aware!
