Stairs were burnt and looked dangerous

Location is amazing - the heart of old town! Apartment itself is perfect for solo travellers/couples with small baggage.

Sound isolation could be better - woke up because neighbours were locking their door and I thought someone is getting into the apartment. Stairs are also tricky and scary as they are old.

The apartment is conveniently located for all of the major attractions in Old Riga. The space was clean and tidy although very small. Despite the size, it was all I needed for a 3-night stay.

The main things to mention: the building is old and with that comes three flights of uneven wooden stairs. The final flight to the apartment is spiral and uneven, so you need to be careful. This was fine for me but should be mentioned in the description of the property as for some people, it may cause issues. The handrail was also quite low, offering little stability. In the stairwell, the lights are motion operated. I had to walk up at least 5 or 6 on the bottom flight before the light was activated, making the stairs a little tricky to navigate. The other concern is fire safety. There was no fire escape plan/route, which is concerning when you're on a top floor, especially in an old building. I also didn't notice any fire alarms or smoke alarms, although there were fire extinguishers.

Excellent location. Everything we needed for a 3 night break. Host very informative.

Having to carry my luggage on the 50 steps. I have 24 kls suitcase, and I split the contents to be able to get up there. If you have a backpack, no problem at all.

This place was amazing! The location was great, in the old city center and the entire apartment was really clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

It is within the Old Town of Riga, so the location provided easy access to the places I have listed in my itinerary. I may say that the property is in an excellent location, an advantage for the guests.

Maybe the non-availability of an elevator. Older, people like me had difficulty going up on stairs and an elevator can be a great relief for aged guests.

Mini apartment in the heart of Riga's historic city center (World Heritage), the location is great (100 m to the house of the blackheads, 200 m from the Dome, plenty of cafes and restaurants around). Good communication with admin, easy pick up of keys from a lock). The apartment was on a 3rd floor of an old house without lift (for me no problem, same as at home), is well restored and painted white with decent deco, very clean and luminous, good internet (I had to work and VPN worked very well), has a water boiler, brand new microwave and fridge (and cups/glasses/plates/cutlery). Comfortable double bed, a mini desk in front of the window, good toilet with plenty of toilet paper and towels for only 1 person, great shower, plenty of sockets (that was awesome, I think there were about 10). Did not manage to get the TV working but not a TV freak. Owner facilitated an earlier check-in so that I could have a work teams meeting. A nice place for a single traveler, can accommodate 2, price:value unbeatable and a sound 10.

A toaster would have been nice but not an issue. And need to add a dish towel - just recommendations
