NOTHING. IT WAS A DISASTER. The property is inaccurately described. It was SO inaccurate, we could not stay for even one night. I had a broken foot, stairs were difficult, I checked the property description. It states "the entire unit is on the ground floor " This is a LIE. I would never have booked an apartment with stairs as it was very painful to negotiate stairs.

The main problem was the blatant lie on the description. I do not want anyone else to be caught out like I was. If a description states "the entire unit is on the ground floor " then I do not expect stairs!! The owner was late. His manner was abrupt and uncaring. He said I should've requested a ground floor apartment when booking!!! Why would I need to do that when "the entire unit is on the ground floor "?? The outside space by the tiny pool is along an uneven, unmade track, accessed by unlocking the barrier, across the car park - not easy with a broken foot. It was impossible for us to stay. We called Booking.com who agreed that the description of the property was incorrect. We left the key, as instructed, on the desk and left to find alternative, more suitable accommodation. We had paid upfront online and also paid our Tourist Tax in cash to the owner. The only response from the owner has been a refusal to refund any money, to lie and say we did not turn up (we have proved our arrival to Booking.com via photographic evidence) and to send a vaguely threatening and insulting email. Other reviewers have mentioned the fact that "breakfast " is a laughable word for cheap yoghurts, plastic wrapped processed cheese and ham, so I don't need to! This "breakfast" is just a Do It Yourself effort in your room, by the way! We are shocked to realise that this owner can get away with such a breach of contract by blatantly misrepresenting his property as being on the ground floor when an apartment accessed by stairs clearly isn't. I am disappointed that the owner has cost me money for nothing but upset.....however, I am even more disappointed at such an inhospitable, unkind, unapologetic attitude, this is very unrepresentative of the warm welcome we received elsewhere in beautiful Tuscany. I have used Booking.

Excellent location just a short drive from the city, the best of both worlds. Having a car is absolutely essential though. Pool area was nice and relaxing, great to have a beer after a busy day (bring your own, no bar).

Our apartment was quite dated, could do with some investment to modernise it slightly. However for the price compared to similar properties in the area it wasn’t terrible.

Everything was perfect! What a place - I wish we could have stayed here longer. The sunsets were amazing from the pool. The room was huge and we could not have been happier!

Laat je niet misleiden door de foto’s! Dit verblijf was een grote teleurstelling en absoluut geen fijne plek voor een vakantie, zeker niet met kinderen. Wij hebben besloten om het appartement twee dagen eerder te verlaten! • Het zwembad ligt niet bij het appartement, wat het onpraktisch en onaangenaam maakt voor gezinnen. • De kamer is donker en benauwd; de beloofde faciliteiten ontbreken grotendeels. Deel de kamer oppervlakte door twee, ipv 45m2. • Er is slechts een gedeelde entree, terwijl de eigenaar het doet voorkomen alsof je een privé-appartement hebt. • De schoonmaak laat ernstig te wensen over. • De host is onprettig in de omgang, niet gastvrij en kan duidelijk niet omgaan met feedback (zie ook zijn reacties op andere reviews). Kortom: alles behalve ontspannend of gastvrij. Kijk verder en bespaar jezelf een enorme teleurstelling.
