"Beautiful views though expensive for shared accommodation."

The view was exceptional. The piano and furnishings were beautiful.

It was noisy with other occupants above us, we could hear them walking on their floor/ our ceiling. The duvet was too warm and on the first night there was no thinner cover to put on the bed. We had to ask for one the next day.

"Te Whare Rangi is a special place"

Te Whare Rangi is a lovingly restored 1857 house situated on a hillside in Britannia Heights overlooking Tasman Bay with stunning views from a porch on the second floor where we watched the sun go down on the nights we stayed in Abel Abode, one of the guest rooms at the rear of the house which also opened onto a private garden. We travel a lot and this property is possibly one of the most exquisite places we've stayed. A private, tranquil escape. Gabriele, one of the property managers greeted us so warmly and made us feel right at home. We loved our stay, the memories will remain indelible.

There isn't much to improve on -- the house is gorgeous.

"Excellent property in Nelson"

Te Whare Rangi is a beautiful and special property and we absolutely loved our stay there. Our room in Abel Abode was very comfortable and well-appointed with a very nice attached ensuite bathroom. Dealing with Gabi was excellent - she is very customer-orientated and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

There were no beach towels provided. Given Nelson's close proximity to beaches, it would be very appreciated to have a selection of beach towels for guests to use. We stayed at a similar property on the North Island and they provided this service to guests which was very helpful as travellers do not have room in their suitcases for beach towels. This is the only improvement/suggestion that I can think of.
