4 bedrooms pool home in Davenport close to the parks

House was ok. Nice setting, ok interior. Plenty of space with even two living rooms incl. TV etc. Good kitchen, fridge and oven. Beds and linens were ok. Pool is nice, large terrace under a roof. Good and calm setting in a neighborhood. You hear the highway behind the woods but not disturbing. We had a technical problem with the smoke detectors - empty battery probably ...quick response / caring by the rental agency (the problem was not fixed though).

The house could use some overhaul with the furniture and interior. All is probably 25 years old which is obvious. It´s mostly clean but old. We had ants in the kitchen when we left bread on the desk for one night. The kitchen is completely "empty" - not even salt, pepper, sugar or coffee filters are there, although I bet every renter is leaving something behind (just like us). There were precisely 2 dishwasher tabs and 3 toilet paper rolls. No spare at all. All that doesn´t meet our expectations. There were beach towels but no washer fluid so we couldn´t clean it after use. The rental agency was requesting thousands of personal data points upfront - really complicated. Check in still was delayed as house was not ready despite they knew our precise arrival time. Hundreds of mails prior to rental - nothing anymore for or after checkout. Although it claims to be "close to the parks" that doesn´t help as the I-4 is always overcrowded and there is no way around.
