Pink Fairy Paradise Penthouse, 10mins from the beach

Imeline vaade suurelt rõdult merele. Võõrustaja oli super tore ja kui viimasel päeval välja kolisime, siis lubas kohvreid kuni õhtuni apartamendis hoida

Apartment is on a hill and has amazing view to the sea and to the mountain. Host is really great, friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Huge balcony. Reasonable walking distance from beach and grocery shop. Bus stop nearby. Cafe / restaurants are within walking distance.

Property has potential to have 10 rating, but the following points need improvement: -Furniture is old and is falling apart. Needs replacement. -Beds are matresses on wooden pallets. Would be great to have proper bed. -There is mould in the shower cabin silicone and bathtub silicone. Silicone needs to be replaced. Shower cabin door is broken - needs replacement. -No coffee machine. -No fume extraction hood over kitchen cooker. -Dishwashing machine trays are rusty and broken. Needs replacement. -There are two old frying pans with no lids. Needs replacement. -Small pot without lid. Needs lid cover. -There was only one sharp kitchen knife. Host gave more when we asked for them. -Host has cat and dog. Some of us had allergy problems especially in the living room / kitchen area. Proper cleaning is needed. -Blankets for beds were synthetic. We asked for cotton linen to use as blankets and host brought us those. -Balcony is huge, but has only one broken arm chair and old sun bed. Would be great to have have table and chairs for 6 persons, couple of new sunbeds, weber gas grill. -There are lot of mosquitos, which was great surprise to us. Property windows and doors have mosquito nets. Host forgot to tell us about those. So remember to use them. -There are ants on the balcony, so remeber not to leave any food on the floor or in bags. We did not know about that and one day lots of ants were in one of the rooms.

Duzo niestety starych mebli i rzeczy,Duzo usterek i niezbyt czyste lazienki.Ogolnie obiekt z duzym potencjale ale zaniedbany.

Viel Platz, ideal mit kleinen Kindern. Victor ist sehr nett.

Kleiner Kritikpunkt: ein paar Möbel waren schon etwas beschädigt.

Cudowne miejsce na wakacje. Spędziliśmy tam tydzień w 7 osób. Bardzo wygodne materace, kuchnia w pełni wyposażona. Cudowny taras do spędzania poranków i wieczorów. Victor jest mega miłą osobą. Pomocny w każdej sytuacji. Naprawdę polecam dla dużej rodziny. Apartament blisko plaży, dobrze skomunikowane miejsce z resztą wyspy. Sklepy, restauracje w pobliżu. Same superlatywy

Központi helyen, családbarát, kisgyerekeseknek tökéletes a sok gyerekjaték, alacsonyan fekvő ágy miatt. Nagy tér, minden szobához saját terasz. Remek kilátás. Lépcsőzni ugyan kellett mert amikor mi voltunk a lift nem működött de legalább mozgott is az ember kicsit :) A vendéglátónk kedves volt, mindenről tájékoztatott minket!

Nem volt ilyen

Gospodarz jest bardzo pomocny i komunikatywny. Apartament jest przestronny, czysty, dobrze wyposażony. Położony dość blisko morza - do najbliższej plaży (kamienisto-betonowej) jest niespełna 400m, podobnie do dobrze wyposażonego sklepu osiedlowego. Do głównej plaży piaszczystej w Mellieħa jest trochę dalej - ok 950m, ale jeśli chodzi o wysiłek, to (w porównaniu z dojściem do najbliższej plaży) różnica jest niewielka, bo najcięższe jest początkowe 300m gdzie ulica biegnie dość stromo w dół. Dalej idzie się już po prawie płaskim terenie.

W kuchni mogłoby być nieco więcej naczyń (szklanek, talerzy ceramicznych) - wystarczało ich dla 6 osobowej rodziny tylko na 1 posiłek, trzeba było częściej zmywać. Zmywarka do naczyń ma zniszczony koszyk, przez co trudniej ułożyć w niej naczynia.

- perfectly located, at walking distance from the sea or Melhiella town (but taking the bus for 1 or 2 stops is more comfortable, busses pass by every 10 minutes or less, the road down to the sea or up to town is moderately steep). - less than a 2 minute walk from the bus stop, taking you virtually anywhere on the island. we had read bad stories about the Maltese public transportation, but if you use the Tallinja-app planning your trips is a breeze. - very spacious appartment with more than enough room for us (me and my girlfriend), the appartment could easily house 5 to 6 people. enough closet space spread through the appartment. Also a perfect place to take your kids, the appartment is nicely decorated and has a separate children's room, with toys and other playthings :) - the penthouse appartment has a very pleasant and large terrace, with a nice (side) view on the bay and hill with the church. We spent some great nights watching the fireworks from here (we were there coincidentally during the september festivities, and thoroughly enjoyed the Maria procession and festivities) - kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself, things like spices, oils, ... are provided. Large refridgerator, with ample freezing space, even some soda bottles were provided so no need to immediately go shopping the minute you arrive. Hint: do your shopping at Welbee's, short busride to Mellieha (much better and bigger than the closer by Luna mini market) - the host lives in the same building, so if we ran into an issue he was readily available to stop by to help, always pleasant, friendly and helpful. - easy to use washer/dryer present, airconditioning in practically every room - television with Netflix, Youtube, Amazon,... (not that we watched a lot of TV :)) - the building is recent and very clean, no issues at all with noise. - perfectly working elevator present, so no climbing on stairs :) - 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, one with a bathtub), each with a toilet.

We had a great 10-day stay here! So only some minor details: - the extractor hood in the kitchen was not yet connected while we were there, so you have to open 2 or more windows when you cook. - having a bad back, the matrasses could have been more comfortable for me (too soft). we still slept like babies, but it might make a nice improvement to invest in better bed/matrasses. - the doors of the shower were a bit of a struggle :) easily fixable though, so no issues. Just to mention, if you are looking for a touristic party-location this is not the place for you:) But if you enjoy tranquility in a well-connected place, don't hesitate.
