NLWe loved Villa Lucie for its privacy and spacious environment. The villa has 3 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms and 1 separate guest toilet. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. There is a separate laundry room which we used behind the kitchen. The living room has space with a dining corner and an office area. The outside grounds are very spacious and fully fenced and could even charge electric cars. As for the pool which is very large is good for a lot of fun! Outside also offers BBQ options. Downstairs there was an gas BBQ and upstairs on the roofdeck one for coals. There is only no furniture on the roofdeck. What we absolutely loved was that our pet cats ( we have 2 )were more than welcome at this property and we cannot express our gratitude for this! The cats were the most important part of this trip and not every property welcomes animals, but host Pierre does! We contacted the property upfront to ask if pets were welcome even though during booking it marked pet friendly just to make sure this was correct. So many thanks again! As for cat stuff, we made sure we brought everything they needed and removed everything when we left the property. The house when stated address in google maps doesn’t show up, but if you type Villa Lucie it shows. As for location, for us it was perfect. Faro airport is just a 20min drive away. We would definitely book this property again!
There were a lot of power outs during our stay. While charging the car the power switches go out. We guess that the charging station of the car puts a strain on the electric group that it’s connected to. Besides that, there were multiple power outs during the night just in general and made the whole village go dark in the weeks that we stayed. We are not sure what causes it but that was a separate issue from the car and not the owners fault. So many power outs could damage your appliances since everything went on and off frequently. Other than that we wished that there were better appliances to clean the house with. The vacuum didn’t suck anything and we were just left with a broom. The villa on itself was also not spotless clean, but we made it work by cleaning our selfs.
