Casa Papagayo

The tasteful decor and cleanliness of the property impressed me and all the household appliances, cleaning equipment that were provided, made my stay feel like home from home. It was one of the nicest holiday apartment's I have ever stayed in.

Whilst the complex was very attractive and well maintained with lots of trees, greenery and plants, it was a little farther out from the centre than I had expected, necessitating the use of taxis fairly often during my stay, as I'm 72 and all the walking caused my knees to ache. Other than that I couldn't fault it.

This was a really nice, really clean apartment, the owner was super kind and prepared to help us in every way. Everything about it was just perfect. We have zero complaints about it and we hope to come back soon.

This complex use to be a hotel, which has been converted into a residential and rental properties. Location was about 15 minute walk to the main shopping area. There are restaurants and super markets very close to the apartment. Furthermore, The bar was very close to the swimming pool, served snacks and cheap drinks. Good basic accommodation with a roof terrace. Taxi rank very close by, if you don't feel like walking into town. The Host Alessandro, very helpful with any problems.

The first couple of days, there was no hot water in the apartment. I think this should have been avoided, If the facilities had been checked before we entered the property !! The Iron on the Itinerary list was missing. This was corrected by the host, Alessandro a few days into the holiday. One of the large swimming pools, not in use. Roof terrace could have been swept.
