Casa da Torre, Porto Manso

This is the most beautiful property. The scenery is stunning. We had 4 amazing nights here and would love to have stayed for longer. Marta and her family are lovely hosts.

Only was minor thing for us was the size of the beds but this was far outweighed by the rest of the amenities the house offered and the beautiful scenery. We spent days lying by the pool and didn’t want to leave.

location is magnificent, scenery spectacular, facilities very good. An absolute pleasure to spend time there with my daughter and visit sites on the Duoro River. Highly recommended!!

Nos encantó todo! En principio íbamos a quedarnos en otra de las casas pero debido a una cancelación nos ofrecieron otra mejor sin coste alguno y que suerte tuvimos. La casa estaba genial enfrente de la piscina y con unas vistas inmejorables. Nos dejaron también frutas de su huerto y algunas cosas para que pudiésemos desayunar. Pero sin duda el que mejor se lo pasó fue nuestro perro Arlo que se hizo muy amigo de Whisky el perro de Marta y su familia y que se lo pasó en grande corriendo por toda la propiedad, si volvemos por la zona sin duda nos alojaremos allí! Muchas gracias a Marta también que fue encantadora y nos hizo sentir como en casa!

Un emplacement superbe et une vue spectaculaire sur le Douro vers l’ouest et l’est. La Casa est située sur un vaste domaine d’une grande beauté où orangers, citronniers, rosiers, vignes et autres arbustes fleuris poussent sur une terre en escaliers. On s’y est sentis bien tout de suite.L’endroit est calme. Régua et Pinhao ou Porto sont accessibles en train de Montseiro à quelques minutes de la Casa.

The location was beautiful. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

It seems that maintenance may be a little lacking and in particular the plumbing. Both bathrooms had leaking taps etc. Although the bathrooms have windows it was not possible to open any for ventilation.

Location was absolutely stunning and the host was amazing and extremely helpful.

Many of the restaurants were far a way and closed early.

A Casa da Torre é um sítio de grande beleza e tranquilidade. A Marta recebeu-nos muito bem, e como hóspedes pudemos usufruir não só da casa mas do ambiente envolvente e dos produtos da quinta como laranjas, castanhas, ou compota caseira. A casa tem todas as comodidades necessárias.
